EN61810-3: New standard, new relays

EN50205 becomes EN61810-3 and our relays adapt ...

RELAYS COMPLIANT WITH THE IEC 61810-3 STANDARD

Relays of the RCG / RDG line are highly reliable products featuring high performance, suitable for applications in very harsh
and disturbed environments. Provided with forcibly guided (mechanically linked) contacts, they are compliant with IEC61810-3 Class A standard.
  • Monostable, instantaneous and plug-in
  • with 2 and 4 CO contacts
  • IP50
  • magnetic blow-out for high breaking capacity
  • self-cleaning engraved contacts offer the advantage of breaking both light and heavy loads on the same contact

What does the standard say ?
In relays with forcibly guided contacts, special design and construction features make it possible to guarantee that NO (normally open) contacts cannot be in the same state as NC (normally closed) contacts.
  • If an NC contact does not open when a relay is energized, the remaining NO contact must not close and a contact distance ≥ 0.5 mm must be maintained
  • When the relay is no longer energized, if an NO contact does not open, the remaining NC contact must not close and a contact distance ≥ 0.5 mm must be maintained
The IEC 61810-3 standard specifies the requirements for relays with forcibly guided contacts

The new SCOPIX IV oscilloscope is here!

5 instruments in 1, 5 great reasons to choose a SCOPIX IV digital oscilloscope, which also offers a multimeter, analyser, logger and file consultation directly on the oscilloscope.

New generation of METRIX oscilloscopes for use in the field

From the OX 9062, with its 2 channels and 60 MHz, to the OX 9304, with 4 channels and 300 MHz, the SCOPIX IV digital oscilloscopes SCOPIX IV simplify your applications in the field.
Safety: channels genuinely isolated from one another and in relation to the earth, 600 V CAT III with Probix probes.
Ergonomics: modern, high-tech environment for oscilloscopes which remain simple, compact and practical.
Optimization of all the tools: communication, data storage and operation

STATOP 600 Series: the new DUAL-LOOP PID controllers

Particularly intuitive to use and equipped with the latest technological developments, the new 600 Series of DUAL-LOOP temperature controllers combines performance and simplicity.

ADVANCE Series

STATOP 600 temperature controllerThe STATOP 600 ADVANCE Series: the new generation of DUAL-LOOP temperature and process controllers designed for the most demanding industrial applications. The 600 Series comprises 3 models: STATOP 648 – 689 – 696, which differ in terms of their dimensions and the number of inputs and outputs (10 to 31). The main aim of the 600 ADVANCE Series is to control the temperature and other physical quantities (pressure, flow rate, etc.) in industrial processes.

Simple, intuitive configuration

Equipped with a simplified interface, these controllers can be set up in just 8 steps, directly using the keypad or using the PYROtools configuration software with a PC. For configuration of the STATOP 600 controllers, a clear, simple operator interface is provided, notably due to its backlit LED display. In addition, users have acces to advanced, customizable functions such as the setpoint programmer, the logical and mathematical blocks, timers, energy counters and alerts for preventive maintenance. These functions are configurable and can be saved and re-used for other applications. Developed around a smart display providing clear, accurate information about the process, such as the diagnosis, the alarms and the status of the process, the new 600 ADVANCE Series controllers are simple, quick and intuitive to use.

An advanced setpoint programmer

This new generation of DUAL-LOOP controllers offers functions which make them more than just controllers. Indeed, the STATOP 600 models can replace a small PLC or energy counter, thanks to their logical and mathematical blocks and their counting functions. Equipped with an internal energy counter, the models in the STATOP 600 Series calculate and indicate the energy consumption on the process being controlled in kW and/or financial units (euros, dollars, etc.) which helps to control costs. They are also equipped with the PYROtools software, which helps users to set up an extended configuration, create working recipes and upgrade the controller's firmware via a PC, without having to power the controllers.

Pyrocontrole goes into space!

Pyrocontrole has won a contract with the Air Liquide Group for the ELA4 Kourou Project (French Guiana), which covers manufacturing of the Ariane 6 launcher. Pyrocontrole's Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors are integrated into the Ariane 6 launcher's various oxygen and hydrogen circuits.

With its subsidiary Air Liquide Advanced Technologies and Euro Cryospace, Air Liquide is involved in every phase for the cryotechnical tanks of the launchers for the Ariane programme, from their design through to their integration in the systems. Particularly proactive in its search for advanced technologies alongside the CNES (French National Space Research Centre)and the ESA (European Space Agency), Air Liquide has contributed to all the successive versions of the launcher, from Ariane 1 to Ariane 5.

To ensure that this adventure continues, with its partners, Air Liquide imagines and designs orientations for improvement which will still have their place in future launches. Pyrocontrole is part of the team with its Pt100 and Pt1000 probes from its Nuclear range which complies with a large number of physical and chemical constraints.

Pyrocontrole's collaboration with the Air Liquide Group for the ELA4 Kourou Project reflects the quality of Pyrocontrole's sensors and probes and acknowledgement of the excellence of the equipment which it offers cutting-edge industries such as the Aerospace and Nuclear sectors.
This partnership is the result of a strategy of constant innovation to continue pushing back the technological limits.

ENERDIS is becoming CHAUVIN ARNOUX ENERGY

As of 1st January 2018, Enerdis is changing its name to Chauvin Arnoux Energy, highlighting its membership of the Chauvin Arnoux Group while demonstrating its determination to develop measurement solutions for the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power and capitalizing on the reputation of its parent company.

logo chauvin arnoux energy

Energy at the core of the new identity
Switching from ENERdis to ENERgy ensures continuity in the origin of the name and the company's historic business sector, energy meters, while opening up to a booming market such as energy.
Chauvin Arnoux Energy is seeking to make an impression as a player on the energy measurement market and capitalize on its acknowledged know-how in solutions which have now proved their worth. It is openly striving to be more than just an offensive challenger and is determined to maintain a proactive attitude placing customers at the centre of a clearly-stated strategy to anticipate their needs by providing them with the solutions of tomorrow.
The choice of the word Energy, which is comprehensible in both English and French, makes its adoption much easier nationally and internationally, thus amplifying the effects.

The products will bear the Chauvin Arnoux brand
Chauvin Arnoux Energy's main products will bear the Chauvin Arnoux logo on their front panels. Same group, same marking. One major difference remains, however: Chauvin Arnoux focuses on handheld instruments while the new entity Chauvin Arnoux Energy will continue to seek growth in fixed measuring equipment.

Communication tools too
Whether print or digital, all Chauvin Arnoux Energy's communication tools will be marked with the new logo. On the web and in all our documentation, the Enerdis logo will gradually disappear, replaced by the Chauvin Arnoux Energy logo.

A new identity and a new logo to highlight its membership of a Group whose declared ambition is to be a major player in all measurement sectors in France and internationally.
